Terms and Conditions
As the Hirer you are responsible for the bin during the time of hire. You are liable to ASAP Skip Bins for any damage to our Bins while in your possession, subject to wear and tear.
1. WHILE THE BIN IS IN YOUR POSSESSION YOU WILL NOT
- Light any fires in the bin
- Place or allow any hazardous Chemicals, liquids or materials, LPG bottles, asbestos, polystyrene, oils and paints, tyres, liquid concrete, any waste that maybe explosive or toxic. If you put these items in the bin they will be returned to your property
- Fill or allow the bin to be filled higher than the top level of the bin for health and safety reasons and due to the rules and regulations of the NZ Land Transport Safety Authority
- Move the bin without ASAP Skip Bins Consent
- Mix Hardfill with green waste and general waste bins, any contaminated skips will be charged as a general waste bin and weight allowances will apply
- Further charges as a result of overweight bins may be incurred and invoiced. Invoices that are overdue may be referred to debt collection. You will be liable for the costs of and incidental to recovery of unpaid funds
WEIGHT ALLOWANCE
All our Skip bins have a weight allowance if you exceed this you agree to pay any overweight charges
Overweight charges are charged at .24cents per kg plus GST.
2. DELIVERY
Whilst our Drivers endeavour to deliver your bin on the agreed delivery date and time sometimes subject to operation constraints, Auckland Traffic and other circumstances this cannot always happen.
3. CANCELLATIONS
You are entitled to cancel or amend your order prior to delivery, provided you do so with 24hrs notice. Charges will apply if we turn up to a site and we cannot deliver or pick up a bin outside of our control.
ASAP Skip Bins have the right to cancel any skip bins due to customer aggression, verbal abuse, unable to deliver due to access
4. ACCESS
There must be Clear access available for our Driver to deliver and collect the bin.
Clear driveway clearance- We require at least 3metres width to allow room for our truck and height allowance of 4metres
Insuring there is Stable /flat ground conditions.
No overhanging Powerlines, trees, objects. Over hanging trees must be cleared prior to delivery. ASAP Skip Bins must be made aware prior to delivery of obstructions/powerlines
While our drivers will try their best to accommodate your bin placement requirements, we can’t make any guarantees. Our drivers need to consider easy safe access and removal and to avoid any property damage.
Bins are NOT permitted on the roadside or footpath unless you have a council permit
5. DAMAGES
ASAP Skip Bins will not be liable for any:
- claim for damages, losses or expenses relating to the non-delivery or late delivery of a Bin,
- the late damage to driveways, overhead services or underground services such as cables and drainage; or
- (c) damage caused to any property when a Bin is repositioned by the Hirer.
6. OVERWEIGHT CHARGES/ UNPAID INVOICES
Further charges as a result of overweight bins may be incurred and invoiced. Invoices that are overdue may be referred to debt collection. You will be liable for the costs of and incidental to recovery of unpaid funds.
By Hiring and utilising the bin, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions as stated.
